Description

Ingredients
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
  1. Dissolve yeast in warm milk and let sit until foamy.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, and yeast mixture. Add eggs and softened butter. Knead until smooth and elastic.
  3. Cover and let rise for 4 hours. Punch down, then shape into a ball and place in a Pandoro mold.
  4. Cover and let rise again for 4 hours until doubled.
  5. Preheat oven to 180 °C. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until golden. Cool and dust with powdered sugar.
