Italian Beef Rollups Recipe

Elevate your dinner game with Italian Beef Rollups! These savory delights feature tender beef slices wrapped around a flavorful filling of cheese, herbs, and spices. Baked to perfection and served with a rich marinara sauce, they’re a delicious twist on traditional Italian flavors.

 Ingredients:

– 1 pound thinly sliced beef (such as flank steak or sirloin)

– 1/4 cup Italian dressing

– 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar

– 1 tablespoon olive oil

– 2 cloves garlic, minced

– 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning

– Salt and pepper, to taste

– 4 slices provolone cheese

– 1/2 cup baby spinach leaves

– 1/4 cup roasted red peppers, sliced

– Toothpicks, for securing

 Instructions:

1. Marinate the beef: In a shallow dish, whisk together the Italian dressing, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, minced garlic, dried Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Add the thinly sliced beef to the marinade, making sure each piece is coated. Cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to marinate.

2. Preheat the grill: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

3. Assemble the rollups: Lay out the marinated beef slices on a clean work surface. Place a slice of provolone cheese on each beef slice, followed by a few baby spinach leaves and some sliced roasted red peppers. Roll up each beef slice tightly, securing with toothpicks to hold them together.

4. Grill the rollups: Place the beef rollups on the preheated grill. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the beef is cooked to your desired level of doneness and the cheese is melted.

5. Serve: Once the beef rollups are cooked, remove them from the grill and let them rest for a minute. Remove the toothpicks before serving. Optionally, you can slice the rollups into smaller pieces for serving.

6. Enjoy: Serve your Italian Beef Rollups immediately, and enjoy the delicious flavors!

Feel free to customize these rollups with your favorite Italian ingredients, such as sliced mushrooms, sun-dried tomatoes, or fresh basil leaves. Buon appetito!
